Rue Lajeunesse Renovation

Montréal, Québec

A renovation project for a commercial premises on Rue Lajeunesse. The mandate was to propose a new vocation for a vacant ground floor, justify that choice in a written report, prepare a multimedia presentation, and produce a before-and-after photomontage of the vacant space. I chose to transform the ground floor into a solidarity grocery store, a use that answers a real neighbourhood need while bringing life back to the street frontage. The work combined field observation, a written argument, a two-point perspective drawing of the proposed conversion, and image editing to show the result faithfully against the existing building.
